Choose Your Life Poem
Trying to 'change' your life is a Sisyphean Chore, a never ending battle, a constant chore.
The Sisyphean chore refers to a task or labor that is seemingly endless, futile, and repetitive. It is named after Sisyphus, a figure from Greek mythology. According to the myth, Sisyphus was condemned by the gods to roll a heavy boulder up a hill, but just as he neared the summit, the boulder would roll back down, forcing him to start over. This punishment was meant to be eternal, making Sisyphus's efforts ultimately pointless and never-ending.
The term "Sisyphean" is often used metaphorically to describe any task or activity that feels never-ending, laborious, and fruitless. It highlights the frustration and futility of putting effort into something when there is no hope of achieving a meaningful or lasting result.
How do we get beyond attempting to 'change', beyond a Sisyphean Chore?" Understanding how to 'choose' the great abilities that already exist inside of you, No 'Change' involved. And the amazing part of this is that you already 'choose' every day of your life and you don't realize it's beautiful power.
